Gripton Compound
The Gripton compound uses "predominantly synthetic rubber reinforced with silicon dioxide", which reduces the amount of energy lost through hysteresis. This basically means less warping, less heat build-up and a more efficient tire with improved wear resistance compared to natural rubber. The Gripton compound is soft, allowing it to adapt and adapt to rough surfaces. It has a 56A durometer which makes it much softer than other tires, meaning that the tire not only adapts to the surface it is used on, but also filters out vibrations, producing a smoother ride.
